The below Terms and Conditions are in addition to any others as set down by the Organiser.
Article 1: Definitions
“Organiser” or “We” or “Our” or “Us” means The Egham and Thorpe Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Association or their appointed representative.
“Show” means the Egham Royal Show as organised by the Organiser.
“Show Site” means the venue described for the Show.
“Ticket” means a means to enter the Show as issued by the Organiser, including e-tickets.
“e-ticket” means a ticket for entry to the Show, purchased in advance online via the Show website (www.eghamroyalshow.org.uk), to be electronically verified when presented for admittance to the Show.
“Visitor” or “You” or “Your” means the person purchasing, that has purchased or holds an e-ticket.
Article 2: Visiting the Show
We advise that due to the nature of the terrain of the Show Site, it may be, at times, difficult for Visitors to move around freely. All Visitors enter at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear.
Car parking is provided free of charge, subject to space being available, courtesy of P&G.
Article 3: Ticket Orders
Payment for e-tickets is handled securely by Barclaycard, in accordance with PCI Security Standards. Payment details are neither seen nor handled by Us.
e-tickets are valid for one day only, unless otherwise specified. It is Your responsibility to print and bring your e-tickets to the Show. Each e-ticket should be printed on a separate sheet of A4 paper, and should be presented with the barcode clear.
The resale of Tickets is prohibited and may render them void.
Article 4: Lost, Forgotten or Unused Tickets
No duplicate can be issued or any refund made in respect of any lost, forgotten or unused tickets.
Article 5: Cancellation or Abandonment of the Show
We reserve the right to cancel or abandon the Show without notice. If the Show is cancelled or abandoned in advance, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided at the time of purchase. In the event of cancellation or abandonment of the show, We are not liable for compensation or damage other than up to the maximum of the ticket price. In the case that the ticket held is for both days of the show, and only one day is cancelled, the price difference between a one day and two day ticket will be refunded.
The Organiser shall not be liable in respect of any further loss or damage whatsoever arising from the abandonment, cancellation or postponement of the Show or any such eventuality.
Article 6: Disclaimer of Liability
All tickets are sold subject to the Organiser reserving the right to refuse admission to Show Site to any person, or to withdraw permission at any time to remain on the Show Site and shall not be required to give any reason for such action. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organiser or anyone for whom they are responsible, neither the Organiser, nor any appointed agent, employee or representative accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to Visitors, their property or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
